Paphiopedilum micranthum orchid is my favorite orchid. It lives in subtropical. Its large wide flower will keep blooming over month and then die. But don't throw it away. It can propagate new baby plants.

There are some interest points to know about this plant.

It has a layer of fur all over. Please do avoild touching the leaves. Otherwise you may distroy that "fur". Hold the edges.

They will die after blooming and it takes a long time. Bfore they die, they will produce new baby plants. Thus in nature, those orchid lives groupsin the forest.

This is how I raise them.

A new baby orchid grows out from its motherplant.
