EASY Moss Bonsai micro Landscape Terrarium

This one is also very easy to care for.

First, here are the materials I used:

• The usual three-layer terrarium substrate: small lava rock, sphagnum moss, and akadama

• Pin cushion moss (Leucobryum moss)

• Small-leaf Rhododendron

• Two pieces of shrimp wood

• Zip ties

• A few small pieces of EPE foam (regular packaging foam)

I used two pieces of shrimp wood, one taller and one shorter. I lined them up, placed two small pieces of EPE foam between them near the bottom, and secured everything together with zip ties.

This created a sturdy wood frame with a large open space in the middle.

Then I placed the whole structure inside the terrarium and added the layers of small lava rock, sphagnum moss, and akadama. After that, I covered the surface with moss. Once everything was planted, the moss and substrate completely hid the zip ties and other supports.

The small-leaf Rhododendron was simply planted at the base of the wood.

And that’s it. The whole setup is finished.
