Moss Wall Water Pond Micro Landscape Terrarium

  1. The moss is dry Leucobryum moss (Pincushion moss). The following photos are taken shortly after it is finished. The moss looks so green for they are fully sinked in water before usage. Days later, it will become yellower. Please check the next group of photos I taken a week later. I do terrariums a lot and to save time, I have several large glass tanks to keep them (raised from dry moss and they are in good condition when I use them in most of terrarium projects). But I do not sell fresh moss. Only dry moss available on my website (NCYP) so I create this post to record what will happen if build directly with dry moss.

  2. The building video link will be pasted here too later when it is published on YouTube.

  3. Here is the video how I handle those dry moss. If you are like me, need Leucobryum moss a lot for personal interest or business purpose, I recommend you always keep them at home. You will always get fresh, beautiful moss to use. Summer is over, which is most difficult time for moss, and I just finished updating my website. I will write more blogs for how to keep those terrariums plants at home, especially for moss.

How it looks like just finished:

It was taken a week later since it finished. They look a little greener than it actually is for I guess the light. For testing purpose, I chose different dry moss. They are all naturally dried, only difference is how long they are kept dry. Some are in a week, some month earlier. The fresher, the quicker it regreen. When I am writing this post, even the most yellow part begins to regreen from the roots. Will update more photos next week.

To be continued.
