the plants: Pilea involucrata

Pliea involucrata is a fast growing plants. Even the orchid bites its leaves, it still speading fast, and grows well. At first, the orchid may hides itself on the back of the leaves and soon it sits on leaves all the day.

The material:

  1. bottom layer: coconut coir

  2. a drilled rock planter. I use it to create a more natural look. The Pilea involucrata is planted with soil. Please note: please use sticky, clay texture soil which can support the plant up. If the gardening soil is loose, you may not get an upward look. I added some red clay soil. Clay soil is not good when dry. But in terrarium, a moist environment, clay soil is favored by most tropical plants.

3. Q&A

1) Q: Do I need to buy a net accessories for the praying mantis climb?
