These are two small terrariums planted with carnivorous plants and moss.

The two terrariums have almost the same structure, and the planting methods are also very similar. So I am introducing them together.

How I Made Them

First, I added a layer of small lava rock granules to the bottom of each terrarium.

Next, I placed the main plants inside. I used a Venus flytrap, a sundew, and a miniature saxifrage.

You do not need to add much soil. The small amount of soil that comes with each plant is enough.

After planting the main plants, I covered the surface with Bryum moss.

Finally, I placed the glass covers over the terrariums.

The whole process is very simple.

Keep the terrariums in a bright location and mist them with water as needed.

Because both terrariums have glass covers, you can also place fruit flies inside to feed the carnivorous plants.

This is the first terrarium.

Inside this small house-shaped terrarium, I planted only one Venus flytrap.

The combination of a Venus flytrap and moss is already beautiful enough on its own.

This is the second terrarium.

Inside this small, long, house-shaped terrarium, I added a stone to highlight the beauty of the plants.

I placed one sundew on one side of the stone and one miniature saxifrage on the other side.

Both plants currently look very low-growing. The miniature saxifrage will continue to spread, but it will not grow much taller.

The sundew, however, can produce tall flower stalks.

building video will be uploaded later.
